What is Lift Irrigation-
Lift irrigation is a process or method of irrigation in which water is not transported by natural flow, but is lifted with pumps or surge pools etc.
(लिफ्ट सिंचाई एक ऐसी प्रक्रिया या सिंचाई की विधि है जिसमें पानी का प्रवाह प्राकृतिक प्रवाह द्वारा नहीं किया जाता है, बल्कि पंपों या सर्पिल पूल आदि के साथ उठाया जाता है।)
In a simple words "Lifting water through pumps and pipes from a place and reaching the fields is called Lift irrigation"
(एक जगह से पंप और पाइप के माध्यम से पानी उठाना और खेतों तक पहुँचना लिफ्ट सिंचाई कहलाता है ")
Process of Lift Irrigation -
In a Lift Irrigation basically 5 Process is necessary.
1)Jack well/water channel
2)Pumping station
3)Distribution channel
4)Booster pumping station
5)Outlet management system(OMS)
Jack well/water channel-
A place where a large amount of natural water is collected, like river and from where we lift water, such a place is called a jack well/water channel.
(एक ऐसी जगह जहाँ बड़ी मात्रा में प्राकृतिक पानी एकट्ठा होता है जैसे की नदी और जहाँ से हम पानी उठाते है ऐसी जगह को जैक वेल /वाटर चैनल कहते है। )
Pumping station-
Pumping station means a group of several pumps by which we lift water from the jack well.
(पम्पिंग स्टेशन मतलब कई पम्पों का समूह जिसके द्वारा हम जैक वेल से पानी को लिफ्ट कराते हैं। )
Distribution channel-
This is where we collect water from the jack well. The distribution channel is always built on a high place so that we can access the water to the fields even using gravity.
( यह वह जगह होती है जहा पर हम पानी को जैकवेल से लेकर इकट्ठा करते है। डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन चैनल हमेशा ऊँची जगह पर बनाया जाता है ताकि ग्रेविटी का उपयोग करके भी हम पानी को खेतों तक पंहुचा सके। )
Booster pumping station -
A cluster of several pumps through which we carry the distribution channel water to the fields.
(कई पम्पों का समूह जिसके द्वारा हम डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन चैनल के पानी को खेतों तक पहुँचते हैं। )
Outlet management system(OMS)-
This is a system with which we can control the flow and pressure of water and at the same time we can distribute the water in many fields simultaneously.
(यह एक ऐसा सिस्टम है जिसकी मदद से हम पानी के फ्लो और प्रेशर को कण्ट्रोल कर सकते है साथ ही हम पानी को एक साथ कई खेतो में डिस्ट्रीब्यूट भी कर सकते हैं। )
